Edward W. Childers
Edward W. Childers, 67, died at the Yavapai Community Hospital Jan. 25, 1972. He lived in Prescott seven months, coming from Riverside, Calif.
Born July 6, 1902, in Artesia, N.M. he was a rancher in the Arizona Strip Country for many years and had worked at the Riverside Cement Company for 20 years. He retired from the cement company and later managed real estate property in California.
Mr. Childers is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Enna Kaye Jones and one son, Edward, both of Cedar City, Utah, four sisters, Mrs. Stella White, of Prescott, Mrs. Irene Morris of Henderson, Nev., Mrs. Alice Haynes of Prescott, and Mrs. Verda Sailor, of San Francisco, Calif.; three brothers, Frank, of St. George, Utah, Jack, of Lyons, Colo. and Earl of Las Vegas, Nev.; and 12 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Friday, Jan. 28, 1972, at 3:30 p.m. at Memory Chapel with the Rev. Stanley Glover officiating.
Burial will be in the family plot at the Mountain View Cemetery.
