PIONEER RANCHER DIES AT SEDONA
Funeral services were held at Sedona yesterday afternoon for Charles Rudd, pioneer rancher who died Thursday morning, at the age of 60 years, according to word received in Prescott yesterday by Frank Grubb, supervisor of the Prescott National forest.
Mr. Rudd came to Arizona from Arkansas, in 1876 with his parents and brothers and sisters. He figured actively in early day Indian skirmishes and was well known as a cowpuncher and rancher.
Surviving him are his wife, three children, and a niece, Mrs. Jesse T. Fears.
