The Prescott Courier, Prescott, Arizona Monday, February 7, 1972 Rachel Koontz Rachel Koonz, a native Prescottonian, died Sunday, Feb. 6, 1972 in Fayetteville, Ark. She was born May 14, 1898 in Prescott and was the daughter of Monroe and Esta Miller Redden, a pioneer Prescott family. Mrs. Koonz resided in this city until 1960 when she moved with her family to Fayetteville. She was a member of the Rebekahs and the Eastern Star lodges of Prescott. Her husband Clifford was the former foreman for the K-4 ranches near here. Survivors include her husband, Clifford, and a son Carl, both of Fayetteville, and on sister, Mrs. Esta Winchester, of Phoenix. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 11, at Ruffner Funeral Home with Rev. J. Lloyd Ewart of the United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery. Friends may call at Ruffner Funeral Home from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 10.
