PEREZ, Ramon Garcia

West Valley View, Avondale, AZ July 09, 2010 Ramon Garcia Perez, 59, of Avondale died from a heart attack July 1, 2010, at West Valley Hospital in Goodyear. Mr. Perez was born Sept. 3, 1950, in Phoenix to Urel Garcia and Maria Santos (Padilla) Perez. He served two years in the Marines, attaining the rank of lance corporal, and spent 10 months in Vietnam. He worked for 30 years in the construction industry as a carpenter. He is survived by one daughter, Trisha Perez; two sons, Modesto and Steve; his companion of 26 years, Maria Gonzales; three sisters, Mary, Lupe and Monica; five brothers, Urel Jr., Manuel, Lorenzo, Joe, and Jesse; six grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. Services were held July 8 at West Resthaven Funeral Home in Glendale
