GARDINER, Carol Kay

Carol Kay Denny Gardiner, our wife, mother, sister, friend and inspiration died Feb. 3, 2004 at age 63 from complications with breast cancer. She leaves behind her husband Ted Gardiner of 31 yrs, daughter Kate Gardiner, sisters Connie (Jim) Kreamer of Phoenix and Janice (Harold) Linville of Colby, KS and many dear friends and relatives. Born and raised a wheat farmer's daughter in northwestern Kansas, she came to Phoenix in the 60's where "you don't have to shovel sunshine." Carol touched us all with her activities at Cross Roads United Methodist Church, Windsor Square, Yucca Library, 1st Interstate Bank, and the City of Phoenix. She's left us to discover the meaning of her 3 dreams and is finally cancer free. Services were held at Cross Roads UMC at Central and Northern. Donations may be made in her memory to the church.
