BERNDT, Elizabeth Florence (Liz)

Elizabeth Florence (Liz) Berndt, 81, of Sun City, Arizona, passed away peacefully at Hospice of Arizona on Wednesday, June 13, 2007 after a long and courageous battle against cancer. Members of her loving family were with her. Elizabeth was born and raised in Washburn, Wisconsin. She resided in Arizona for the past 7 years. A great wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister, she will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her two greatest loves in life were her family and her church where she actively participated in the ladies guild. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Herbert (Wally); her sons: Gary and Jim; her daughters: Ann and Beth; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren and sister, Rose. A Funeral Mass to celebrate her life was held at St. Clement of Rome Catholic Church, 15800 Del Webb Boulevard in Sun City, Arizona. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Hospice of Arizona, 2222 West Northern Avenue Suite #A-100, Phoenix, Arizona 85021.
