Casa Grande Dispatch, Casa Grande, Arizona August 22, 2003 GILA BEND - Sofia V. Cota, 72, of Mesa died Aug. 19, 2003 at home. The wake was at St. Francis Catholic Church in nearby San Lucy Village. Funeral Mass was also celebrated there. Burial in Gila Bend. Ms. Cota was born Jan. 29, 1931 in Buckeye. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed making beaded jewelry and spending time with her family. Survivors include a daughter, Shirley Santillano of Glendale; two sons, Randy Cota of Mesa and Joe Seta of Phoenix; a sister, Barbara Cipriano of San Lucy; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
