BERNHARDT, Daniel S.

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Saturday, December 10, 2011 Daniel S. Bernhardt, 68, passed away in Phoenix on Nov. 30, 2011, with his wife, Vicki, by his side. He was born in Long Beach, Calif., to Paul and Ruth Bernhardt. Dan spent many of his earlier years first in California, then in Portland, Ore. Love brought him to Arizona, where he spent 15 years living, loving and dancing with his wife and soulmate, Vicki. They lived in Prescott for two-and-a-half years. The rest of their years together were in Phoenix. Dan embraced and was deeply loved by his new family in Phoenix including Lindsey and Mike, Lisa and Mike, and his adored grandchildren, Riley, Ryan, Annabella and Vicki Jean, who all lovingly called him Papa Dan. He was a longtime member of the Greater Phoenix Swing Dance Club, where he and Vicki made many wonderful friends. In his professional life, he was a real estate investor. A celebration of Dan's life will take place 1 p.m. Dec. 30, 2011, at Brophy Chapel, 4701 N. Central Ave., Phoenix. Information provided by survivors.
