The Prescott Courier, Prescott, Arizona Friday, March 31, 1972 Thomas W. Newnum Thomas W. Newnum, 74, died March 30, 1972 Yavapai Community Hospital. Born December 31, 1897 in Attica, Ind., he came to Prescott from Michigan 20 years ago. He had been a farmer by occupation prior to coming to Prescott and for the past several years he had been manager of Neely Apartments. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Grace Newnum of Prescott; two daughters, Mrs. Belmont Robbins of Branson, Mich. and Mrs. Donald Walantyne of Bangor, Mich.; three sons, Melvin Newnum of Flint, Mich., Charles Newnum of Watervliet, Mich. and Thomas Newnum of Watervliet, Mich. He is also survived by his mother Mrs. Emma Newnum of Bloomingdale, Mich. and four brothers, all of Michigan, 23 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be today March 31 at the Hampton Funeral Home, following the visitation he will be sent to the McCain Funeral Home Bangor, Mich. for funeral services and internment there.
