Paul Edward Sapp passed away Dec. 7, 2011 at his residence in Lake Havasu City at the age of 80. Paul was born on Nov. 8, 1931, in Akron, Ohio, to Thomas and Iva (Speaker) Sapp.
Paul proudly served his country in the U.S. Coast Guard. He was honorably discharged Nov. 21, 1966. Paul worked for the state of Washington as a supervisor in the welfare department.
Among his hobbies were wood working, doing crossword puzzles and he was an avid reader. He was also a member of the V.F.W. and the American Legion.
Paul is survived by his loving wife of almost 24 years, Rickie; his son, David Sapp; daughter, Gail Parmentier; stepson, Bret Moore; stepdaughters, Dellarie Kruger, Debbie Moore, Diana Werner, Dawn Denton and Denice Rease; and 17 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
