The Prescott Courier, Prescott, Arizona Tuesday, June 27, 1972 Rites are set for Mr. and Mrs. Nesman Robert A. Nesman, 63,and his wife Gladys, 55, were found dead in their car southwest of Prescott on Lynx Creek Road on Saturday, June 24. Nesman was born on August 8, 1908 at Clearfield, Co. Pa., Mrs. Nesman was born on June 19, 1917 at Allport, Pa. The Nesmans came to Prescott 25 years ago from Pennsylvania where Nesman had owned and operated Nesman Brother’s Mine. In Arizona he was employed at several mines including the Iron King Mine, the Cyprus Mine near Bagdad, and others near Kingman and the Grand Canyon. Nesman’s survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Many Callahan of Marlborough, Mass. and Mrs. Mabel Carlson of Lanse, Pa., and one brother August, of Lanse. Mrs. Newman survivors are her mother Mrs. Amanda Hummell of Upland, Calif. and two sisters, Mrs. Marion Maehr of Phillipsburg, Pa., and Mrs. Beverly Robinson of Ontario, Calif. Funeral services for the Nesman’s have been scheduled at the Mountain View Cemetery on Wednesday, at 2 p.m. with interment to follow in the family plot. Hampton Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
