Harry Benjamin Cure died February 18, 2007, at his home in Prescott. He was born November 18, 1961, in Eugene, Ore., to Harry B. Cure, Jr., and Maria L. (Delossantos) Cure.
Harry graduated from McMinnville, Ore. High School in 1980. He lettered in three sports, football, basketball and baseball. He attended Oregon State University in Corvallis, Oregon.
Harry was a Member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aires Lodge # 3600, Prescott Chamber of Commerce and he loved people and volunteer work and helping others. His family said he was a kind and gentle person, who enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survivors include parents, Dr. Harry B. Cure, Jr., and Maria Cure of Redmond, Ore.; daughter, Kennedy Elizabeth Cure, of Mesa, Arizona; brother, Scott Cure of Amity, Ore.; parental grandmother, Beatrice Damron of Grants Pass, Ore.; and aunt, Dolores Velazquez of the Eagle Pass, Texas.
A celebration of his life will be Friday, February 23, 2007 at 2 p.m. at the Fraternal Order of Eagles Lodge, 218 N. Cortez St., Prescott, Ariz.
The family suggests that memorial be made to YRMC Hospice in his memory.
The Hampton Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
