FAHNESTOCK, Dick

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Thursday, February 22, 2007 Dick Fahnestock, died February 17, 2007 at Yavapai Regional Medical Center of Prescott, Arizona. Dick was born August 20, 1943 in Oakland, California, the son of John David and Naomi Fahnestock. Dick was 63 years old. Dick love to spend time outdoors as a young man boating and fishing, but in his later years he preferred to see Arizona from a saddle atop his horse. He also enjoyed being a heeler for team roping events and playing his guitar. He was proudest of his daughters and grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Peggy, they were married September 7, 1962; his daughters and son-in-law, Marnie and Bill Byrne and Stephanie Clark, all of Phoenix, Arizona; grandchildren, Tanna,, Scott and Britney; his sisters, Karen Roundsville and Charlotte (Gary) Rutherford, both of California; and his parents J.. D. (Esther) of Mesa, Arizona and Naomi Fahnestock of Ontario, California. A celebration of Dick's life will be 11 a.m. Saturday, February 24, 2007, at the Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home, the corner of Carlton and Cortez, Prescott. Information provided by survivors.
