HENDRIKSON, Claire Lucille

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Tuesday, February 27, 2007 Claire Lucille Hendrickson, age 101, died peacefully Friday morning, February 23, in Prescott, Arizona. Known as Kelly, she was born at home in Dodgeville, Wisconsin, September 7, 1905, the second daughter of Andrew M. and Emma F. Larson Hendrickson. She worked as an assistant in medical practices in Chicago and New York before moving to Mesa in the 1940's. She moved to Prescott Valley in 1968 and to Prescott in 2003. An independent and resourceful woman, she enjoyed traveling in this country and abroad, made her close and build her house in Mesa. She is survived by sister, June Olson of the Dodgeville; two nieces and a nephew: Sarah Jane Moss of Greenfield, Miss., Karen Keefe of Coon Rapids, Minn., and E. Kim Evans of Winter Park, Florida; and many grand and great grand nieces and nephews and one great great grand nephew. She was preceded by her sisters, Leone Evans, Evelyn Mellum, Mildred Johns; and by her brothers John, Merle, and Charles Hendrickson; and a nephew Robert Thomas, There are no formal services. Interment will be in Eastside Cemetery, Dodgeville, Wisconsin. Arrangements interested to Sunrise Funeral Home. Information provided by survivors.
