Wickenburg Funeral Home & Crematory Wickenburg, Arizona Jason Donald DeWayne Grissom September 7, 1978 - December 9, 2011 Jason Donald DeWayne Grissom, age 33, passed away on December 9, 2011 in Morristown, Arizona. Jason was born September 7, 1978 in Flint, Michigan to Robert Grissom and Jan Strudgeon Grissom. He attended Bentley School in Burton, Michigan and later attended Michigan State University. Jason enlisted in the Marines serving in various locations within the states as well as abroad. While serving he worked as a certified computer technician. Following his military service he returned to Flint, Michigan where he began working in construction. Jason moved to Arizona in 2005 also working in construction operating heavy equiment and surveying. Most important in Jason's life was family. He found Christ and was baptized in 2010 and was a member of the Faith Baptist Church in Wickenburg. Jason enjoyed the Arizona outdoors and was an avid fisherman and camper. He loved his animals and enjoyed off-roading. Jason was preceded in death by his father, Robert Grissom in 1987 and grandparents Donald & Norma Strudgeon. He is survived by his mother, Jan Strudgeon Grissom of Wickenburg and companion and her daughter, Tabatha and Crystal Bundesen of Morrsitown, grandmother Iris Sharples of Utah, Step-mother Sheri Harvey of Lapeer, Michigan and step-father Russell Daniels of Goetzville, Michigan and step-brothers: Adam, Derrek & Jason Daniels, a half sister Samantha (Brandon) Chapman and her son Cole of Pontiac, Michigan and Aunt and Uncle Jill & David McQueen of Au Gres, Michigan and special aunt Alberta LaRiviere and companion Coleman Woods. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, December 17th at 11:00 AM at Wickenburg Funeral Home.
