Private services will take place at a later date. Arrangements by Chino Valley Funeral Home. ------------------------ Saphrona Della Jennings, of Prescott, AZ was born April 16, 1916 in Timber, MO. to Luther and Daisy (Curnet) Shelton. She went to be with her Lord Friday, November 10, 2006 at the age of 90 years, 6 months and 25 days. Saphrona was united in marriage on April 13, 1935 at Eminence, MO. to Arnold Jennings for 62 years until his death in 1997, and to this union 3 children were born. She leaves behind one daughter, Joyce and husband, Tom, of Wilhoit, AZ; one son, Dee, of Humboldt, AZ; one sister, Thelma Thomas and husband, Ray, of Eminence, MO; two brothers, Paris Shelton, of Arnold, MO and Otho Shelton, of Matthew, MO; her grandchildren, DJ and Cody Jennings, of Eminence, MO; Tina Betker and husband, John, of Las Vegas, NV; Christopher Jennings and wife, Kim, of Clarksville, TN; Leslie Mulcahy, of Albuquerque, NM; Tracy Blankenship and Husband, Darrin, of Las Vegas, NV; Terry Bueter, of Prescott, AZ; Carl Bueter, of Tucson, AZ; Bill Bueter and wife, Mary Jane, of Las Vegas, NV; Crystal Erickson and husband, Wade, of Chino Valley, AZ; 21 great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Arnold; two brothers, Dale and Perry; and one son, Jerry. A memorial was held Saturday, December 2, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at the Duncan Funeral Chapel in Eminence, MO with Bro. Bud Younger officiating. Interment was in the Flatwoods Cemetery in Flatwoods, MO under the direction of Duncan Funeral Home of Eminence, MO.
