Gordon Emil
Rev. Gordon Emil Lindstrom, 83, went to be with his precious Lord on February 4, 2004.
He was born to Emil and Gertrude Lindstrom on February 28, 1920 in Alexandria, Minnesota. He came to Phoenix, Arizona about five years later. He graduated from Phoenix Union High School. He worked at a power company, and then went to Moody Bible Institute.
While there, he married Elizabeth (Betty) Mae Lindstrom on March 28, 1942. Gordon graduated from Denver Bible College and Dallas Theological Seminary. They returned to Arizona where he served the Lord by teaching in a Bible College, and pastoring churches in Superior, Tempe, and South Phoenix before retiring. He was a humble and thankful servant of Christ.
He is survived by his four sons, Jerry, Steve, Joe and David, their wives, sixteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Gordon's memorial celebration was on February 7, 2004 with a viewing at Green Acres, 401 N. Hayden Rd., Scottsdale, followed by a service.
