Dorothy G. Powell, age 83, died 2/4/04 in Mesa, Arizona.
Born on February 25, 1920, in Douglas, Arizona to William Alvin and Afton Porter Gardner, attended Gila Junior College and University of Utah, filled a mission for LDS Church in Western Canada, married in Mesa Temple to Chester S. Powell, who preceded her in death.
Survived by their children: Garth William (Debra) Powell, Blaine C. Powell (Sherri), Janeece Richardson, Marlene (Wayne) Lewallen, grandchildren: Jason, Scott, Melissa, Christopher, Adam, Brandon, Stephanie Burke, Jessica, Kimberly, Benjamin, Mac-Kenzie Barnett and Dakota Powell, Whitney and Emily Richardson, Janae Peterson. In-Laws: Beth Weaver, Viola Parke, Lila Jean Marvin, Carlos, Phyllis Powell. One Sister: Lucille (Gordon) Jenkin, Nieces and Nephews: Bradley, Mark, Brett Jenkins, Christine Carlston, Karen Johnson, Denise Crabtree, Rene Piper, Kimberlee Hawkins.
Graveside Services were held at City of Mesa Cemetery. Bishop Daniel Martinez Conducting.
