The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Monday, December 12, 2011 Barbara L. Bonney, 80, of Prescott, Ariz., died Friday, Dec. 9, 2011, at her Prescott residence. She was born Nov. 18, 1931, in Braddock, Pa., to William and Kathryn (Hartman) Lewis. Barbara grew up in Braddock, Pa., where she attended school. In Arizona, she enjoyed fishing, camping and painting. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Barbara worked as an ombudsman, being named Ombudsman of the Year in 2001. Barbara is survived by six children: Richard, Kathryn, Robert, William, David and Randall; brother William Lewis; 17 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert. A memorial service will be Saturday, Dec. 17, 2011, at 2 p.m. at the First Church of the Nazarene, 2110 Willow Creek Road in Prescott. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the St. Jude Tribute Program, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142. Hampton Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements.
