Norvel Owens Mortuary, Flagstaff, Arizona Larry Lukus (December 18, 1946 - December 9, 2011) Larry Lukus, 64, of Flagstaff passed away December 9, 2011. He was born December 18, 1946 in Flagstaff to Ray and Dixie Jo Cockrell Lukus. Larry was a graduate of Flagstaff High School and was proud to have served in the U.S. Navy. After his military service he returned to Flagstaff. He was a former employee of Walgreens working as a clerk and then Security at the distribution Center. He was also the bookkeeper for General Automotive for his dad. Larry was a lifetime member of the American Legion and belonged to the 40 & 8 La Societe des Quarante Hommes et Huit Chevaux. Both Ray and Dixie proceeded him in death as well as his brother Alfred Lukus. He is survived by his daughters Shannon Olson (Jason) of Denton, Texas and Kim Rogers (Jeff), sister Doris VanArsdale of Kingman, 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. A graveside service with military honors will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 16, 2011 in the Family plot at Citizens Cemetery.
