TAGGART, George D.

George D. Taggart, 83, of Mesa, Arizona, passed away on February 4, 2004. George was a U.S. Navy Veteran born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He lived in California for over 40 years enjoying his family, friends, accounting business and international travels. He is survived by wife, Avis, son and daughter in-law, Bruce and Alice Taggart, and daughter and son in-law, Madeline and Ron Beber. He also leaves behind three grandchildren, Shelly Johnson, Gwen Berendsen and Kenny Beber as well as four great grandsons. He will rest in peace with Hildegarde Taggart, wife and mother, at Rose Hills Cemetery in Whittier, California. Contributions may be made to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix, AZ 85014. Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park and Funeral Care serving the family. Published in the Arizona Republic on 2/7/2004.
