HUBATCH, Kari Kyle


Arizona Daily Sun, Flagstaff, AZ Friday, October 1, 2010 Kari Kyle Hubatch, 44, died Monday, Sept. 20, 2010, at her home in Flagstaff. She was born in Madison, Wis., the daughter of Harold and Donna Hubatch. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She graduated from Omro Wisconsin High School in 1984 and the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1989. She then entered the U.S. Air Force and served her country in the United States and Germany. She moved to Flagstaff at the completion of her military service and was employed by the city of Flagstaff in the planning and zoning. She was pleasant, helpful and had a positive attitude toward life and was always willing to help others. She was active in the local American Legion Chapter and will be missed by her many friends there. Ms. Hubatch is survived by her mother, Donna, and stepfather Michael O’Brien of Williston, N.D.; brother Randall of Madison, Wis.; and one niece. She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Hubatch, and older sister Tamarra Karoly. A memorial service will be Saturday at 10 a.m in the Norvel Owens Mortuary Chapel with full military honors following. Interment will be Monday, Oct. 4, at 1 p.m. in the Citizens Cemetery — Veterans Section in Flagstaff. Condolences can be sent to her family at www.norvelowensmortuary.com.
