CANCINO, Luis Escoto

Arizona Daily Sun, Flagstaff, AZ Wednesday, December 26, 2001 Luis E. Cancino, 78, of Los Angeles, died Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2001. Mr. Cancino was born in Flagstaff and worked as a carpenter. He also served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a member of Jerome Verde Valley Club. He is survived by his wife, Hope V. Cancino; daughters Carolyn and Judy; sons Russell, Glenn and Edward; sisters Jenny, Beatrice and Lucy; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. His brothers Sam and Ray preceded him in death. A mass is scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Guadalupe Church, with funeral services following at Citizen's Cemetery. Norvel Owens Mortuary is handling arrangements.
