COOK, John C.

Arizona Daily Sun, Flagstaff, AZ Friday, March 17, 2006 John C. Cook, died Wednesday, March 15, 2006. He was born in Fairfield, Iowa, and came to live with his children in Flagstaff. Mr. Cook is survived by his five children, Mary, John, George, Cindy and Sue; two daughters-in-law; three sons-in-law; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandson; sister Willabe Kitchen; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Cook was a loving, kind-hearted father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He was always there for his children, grandchildren and friends. He will be missed by many. His favorite last word's were "I'm leaving now." The family would like to thank Northland Hospice for its wonderful compassion during their father's last days. The family has requested that memorial donations be sent to Northland Hospice, PO Box 997, Flagstaff, AZ 86002. There will be a graveside service at Citizens Cemetery on Monday at 10 a.m. Arrangements are by Norvel Owens Mortuary.
