Silver Creek Mortuary, Taylor, Arizona Joyce Ileen Savage (August 13, 1924 - December 13, 2011) Joyce Ileen Savage, 87 Passed away December 13, 2011 at the Carriage House in Snowflake AZ. Joyce Was born in Flint Michigan to Clarence and Mildred Hyatt. She was the oldest of 9 children. She married Phil Savage and they adopted eleven children and lived at Lake Fenton in Michigan until 1970 when they moved to Mesa Arizona. Joyce was a Real Estate Broker in Mesa. In 1978 they moved to Snowflake where Joyce continued to sell Real Estate until 2008 when she finally retired. She was a Member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held many positions in the church. She was a kind and generous to everyone and always had a smile. She made you feel good when in her presence. She will be missed by all who loved her. She is preceded in death by Mother and Father and Two Sisters, Janet Beyer and Sharon Tichnor and by two sons Dennis and David Savage. Joyce has three older sisters Elaine Rose, Connie Marx, Nancy Leach and three Brothers Richard Hyatt, Norris Hyatt, and Harland Hyatt. Joyce leaves behind Nine Children: Patti (larry) Matyas of Snowflake, Larry (Dawn) Savage of Payson Az., Cindy Stewart of Manti Utah, Barbara (John) Schultz of North Carolina, Randy (Melissa) Savage of Phoenix, Susan (Gibb) Stailey of Mesa, Janet (Tillman) Turley of Colorado, Kenneth Savage of New Mexico and Jamie Savage of New Mexico. She also has Lots of Grand Children and Great-Grandchildren. A Celebration of her life will beheld at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Main Street Chapel on Saturday, December 17, 2011. A visitation will be at 10:00 wih services to follow at 11:00.
