The Prescott Courier, Prescott, Arizona Friday, May 5, 1972 Vivian Emma Green Vivian Emma Green passed away on Friday, May 5, at Yavapai Community Hospital. Mrs. Green was born in Battle Creek, Mich. and came to Prescott in 1922. She married A. H. Green who was at the time assistance cashier at the Prescott State Bank, in 1924, then moved to Detroit in 1929 and later to San Diego where Mr. Green died in 1960. Shortly afterwards, Mrs. Greene moved back to Prescott to make her home with her daughter Mrs. Oliver (Perry) Shook. In addition to her daughter, survivors include a step-daughter, Mrs. Virginia Green of Longmont, Colo.; a step-son, Austin Green of North Hollywood, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Mildred Mahoney of Prescott. Also, three grandchildren survive, Mrs. Hugh Carpenter, of Scottsdale, Mrs. James Annis of Guam and Mrs. Anne Shook of Phoenix. Mrs. Greene is also survived by four nieces, Mrs. Perry Potter of Prescott, Mrs. Gordon Luepke of Tucson, Mrs. Fred Chase of Albuquerque, and Mrs. George Galbraith of Fenton, Mich. Mrs. Greene was a lifelong member of the Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school for many years. Memorial services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, May 9 at the Ruffner Funeral Home. Capt. John G. Roche will of the Salvation Army will officiate. Cremation will be at the Greenwood Crematory in Phoenix.
