Ronald L. Kilgore, Jr., 48, of Phoenix, AZ, passed away January 24, 2004, after a long, courageous battle with Leukemia.
He was a true Harley Davidson man as well as an accomplished electrician and carpenter. His life was filled with adventures on his Harley, enjoying NASCAR races and perfecting his skills in cooking and gardening. His deep love for animals earned him the nickname, Dr. Doolittle as a child. Those who shared his life will miss his quirky, dry sense of humor, big smile and helpful advice.
Ronald Kilgore is survived by his beloved cats, Smokes, Buddy and Speedy, mother, Marian Kilgore, sisters Therese and Patrice Kilgore, brothers Kevin and Sean (April) Kilgore, and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins and dear friends Fred and Janey, Roger and Lois and Doug and Mary.
A celebration of his life was held Sunday, February 15, 2004, at the Brown residence. Donations in Ron's memory can be made to Hospice of the Valley, Thunderbird Unit, 13620 N. 55th Ave., Glendale, AZ 85304. "He did endeavor to persevere!"
