Frances Wolfinger Visitation Sunday
Mrs. Frances V. Wolfinger, 61, died at her home in Prescott this morning, Oct. 18 after a lingering illness.
Born in Reading, Pa; Oct 13, 1913, Mrs. Wolfinger was later graduated from Catawba College in Salesbury, N.C. and Yale University School of Nursing in New Haven, Conn.
She moved to Prescott 27 years ago from Baltimore, Md. and resided here at 303 Park Ave.
Mrs. Wolfinger had been employed as a public health nurse in Baltimore and was a nurse at Yavapai Community Hospital for 12 years. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Prescott and the American Association of University Women.
She is survived by: her husband, Harold, a local attorney; three sons, Henry of Washington, D.C., Jonathan of Los Angeles and Ethan at home; two daughters, Miss Martha Wolfinger of Las Cruces, N.M. and Mrs. Ellen Rathjen of Rochester, N.Y., also one brother, Dr. L.G. VanLoon of Somerset, Pa.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m., Monday, Oct.21 at the United Methodist Church with private cremation at Mountain View Crematory.
Visitation will be at Memory Chapel from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 20.
The family suggests donations to the Arizona or American Cancer Society.
