ROBERTS, James Edward

The Prescott Courier, Prescott, Arizona Monday, November 4, 1974 Roberts Rites Tuesday James E. Roberts, 73, died at Yavapai Community Hospital Saturday. He was born on April 11, 1901 in St. David, Ariz. and had been a mine worker in Arizona and New Mexico for most of his life. He was a member of the Miller Valley Baptist Church and had moved to Prescott from Silver City, N.M. one year ago. Survivors include his widow, Eula, of Prescott; one son, Joseph E., of Phoenix; one daughter, Mrs. Marjorie Trammell, of Prescott; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; three brothers and four sisters out of state. Services will be held at Memory Chapel on Tuesday at 2 p.m. with burial to follow at Mountain View Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Memory Chapel on Tuesday from noon to 2 p.m.
