The Prescott Courier, Prescott, Arizona Thursday, November 7, 1974 Elizabeth Matson Rites In Payson Elizabeth E. Matson, 81, died at the Whipple VA Hospital Wednesday. She was born on Jan. 21, 1893 in Colorado and had been a resident of Prescott for the past 55 years. She was a veteran of World War I and had been a nurse. Her body has been sent to the Payson --- (line cut off) for services. Hampton Funeral Home was in charge of local arrangements.
