LOVE, Claude Edward


The Prescott Courier, Prescott, Arizona Tuesday, October 29, 1974 Claude Love Claude E. Love, 92 died at Yavapai Community Hospital early Friday morning. A longtime resident of Prescott., he came to Arizona from Kentucky in 1917 as a health seeker. He settled in Seligman and worked for the Santa Fe Railroad then moved to Prescott in 1921 where he continued employment with the railroad and operated a truck garden in Miller Valley. He was later employed by Leonard Bishop as a truckman and night watchman. He is survived by his son, Fred C. Love of Chino Valley, three grandchildren, eight great-grand and three great-great-grandchildren., two brothers and a sister out of state. Services for Mr. Love will be conducted at Ruffner Funeral Home Monday Oct. 21 at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Merle Heatwole officiating. Burial will follow at Mt View Cemetery next to his wife Annie who preceded him in death in 1950. Friends call at Ruffners from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday.
