Concepcion P. Ulloa passed away February 5, 2004 at the age of 100 years.
She was born April 8, 1903 in Talpa, Jalisco, Mexico and became a U.S. citizen June 22, 1945.
Concepcion and her husband were involved on the Board of Directors of Wesley Center and with Chicanos Por La Causa. She was a member of the Guadalupanas at Immaculate Heart Church and a member of St. Theresa Parish Community. Concepcion and her husband were in the grocery business for a great number of years.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jesus L. Ulloa, daughter Enedina Cerino and nine brothers and sisters. She is survived by three sons, Robert (Nellie), Martin (Nadine), Jesus and son-in-law Albert Cerino. In addition 14 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation and Rosary at at Whitney & Murphy Arcadia Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Rd. Funeral Mass was Wednesday, February 11th, at St. Theresa Catholic Church, 5045 E. Thomas Rd. Interment St. Francis Cemetery. Family suggests donations in lieu of flowers to Hospice of Arizona, 1800 E. Van Buren, Phoenix, AZ 85006.
