HAVEN, Ralph W.

Ralph W. Haven, 69, of Glendale, AZ passed away on February 6, 2004 at 11:18 p.m. Son of Ralph Lee and Hilda Haven, he was born October 31, 1934 in Jerseyville, IL and raised in Rockridge, IL. Ralph will be fondly remembered as the Haven family patriarch. He was a retired Bank One and Arizona Public Service (APS) executive, a member of Downtown Kiwanis, and an avid learner, world traveler, woodworker, gardener, outdoorsman and life strategist. It was always a battle and he was always a warrior. He is survived by his wife, Linda Haven, and 6 children, 11 grandchildren, 2 sisters and 1 brother. Survivors include son Mark and spouse Sharri and grandchildren Brian, Collin, Ashley and Kara of Mesa, AZ; son Kent of Dallas, TX; son Craig and spouse Laura and grandsons Steven and Ben of Las Vegas, NV; daughter Cheri Barrett and grandson Brooks of Huntington Beach, CA; daughter Sara Moniger and spouse Mike and grandchildren Brittany, Dana, Tarryn, Jenna, and Max of Moro, IL; daughter Jeanine Jerkovic and spouse Veljko of Phoenix, AZ; brother Dale and spouse Liz and nieces Marie and Lisa of Callaway, VA; sister MaryAnn Fast and spouse Richard and niece Heather of Gig Harbor, WA; sister Linda Lee Davis and husband Robert and niece Melinda and nephew Robert, Jr. of Glendale, AZ. Memorial services were held at Green Acres Glendale Mortuary at 5830 W. Missouri Ave, Glendale, AZ. Donations can be made in lieu of flowers to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E.
