Arizona Wakelin Bradshaw Chapel. Prescott Valley, Arizona Catherine M. Ray, age 72 years of Prescott Valley, AZ, died at her home on Thursday, December 15, 2011. Catherine was born on January 28, 1939 in Youngstown, Ohio to William and Catherine (Bauer) Szabados. She has lived in Arizona for a little over ten years, coming from Pennsylvania. On October 13, 1959, she married her husband, Robert L. Ray, who survives. A complete obituary will be available soon, along with services that the family will have at a later date. Catherine was born on Jan. 28, 1939, in Youngstown, Ohio, to William and Catherine (Bauer) Szabados. Catherine graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in 1956 and went on to nurses training at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pa. On Oct. 10, 1959, she married Robert L. Ray, of Wexford, Pa. They both retired to Prescott Valley in 2001. Catherine and her sister Loretta became partners in real estate, working for CMA & Associates from 2007. She has been an active member of Jehovah's Witnesses since 1947. Catherine is survived by her husband, Robert L. Ray of Prescott Valley; children Laura J. Cower of Clearwater, Fla., Sharon A. Fink of State College, Pa., and Michael L. Ray of Wexford, Pa.; and her sister Loretta Henderson of Prescott Valley, Ariz. Memorial services for Catherine will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 31, 2011, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 12135 E. Turquoise Circle, Dewey, Ariz.
