LAMBERT, Donald Wayne

Donald Wayne Lambert, 80, of Sun City Grand, AZ, passed away on Feb. 7, 2004. He was born in Arkansas City, Kansas, one of 6 children of Albert and Vera Lambert. Donald and his wife, Anna, have resided in Arizona since their marriage in 1997. He proudly served as 1st Lt. with the 407th Inf. in WWII for which he was decorated with the Bronze Star for heroic achievement. After graduating from the U. of CO, he married Marjorie Hildebrand in 1951 and moved to Springfield, OH where he worked as an engineer for over 30 years. He is preceeded in death by his first wife Marjorie and daughter Deborah. He is survived by his wife, Anna; children: Brooke (Parris) Atherton of MT; Rick (Cindy) Lambert of AZ; Sandy (Bill) Wolfarth of OH; Doug (Cheryl) Lambert of MO; Angie Lambert of OH; Step-children: Gary (Elfie) Dillon of BC; Dan Dillon of WA; Cindy (Tim) Davis of WA; 14 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Visitation was Thursday at Menke Funeral Home followed by a memorial service in the Chapel. Published in the Arizona Republic on 2/10/2004.
