West Valley View, Avondale, AZ July 13, 2010 Andrew Lehosky, 81, of Goodyear, died June 26, 2010, at Banner Estrella Hospital in Phoenix. Mr. Lehosky was born Nov. 19, 1928, in Westmoreland City, Pa., to Julia Martincheck and Andrew Lehosky Jr. He graduated from Norwin High School in 1946 and enlisted in the Army in 1948. He spent more than 29 years in the Army Reserves. He retired as first sergeant in 1979 from the 1004th Quartermaster Company in Greensburg, Pa. He married Joyce Allen on July 15, 1967, in Manor, Pa. He retired in 1997 after working 31 years for the Elliott Company in Jeannette, Pa. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Manor, the National Slovak Society, Paintertown Golf Club, St. Joseph Polish Club, Paintertown Fire Hall and North Irwin Fire Hall. He moved to Arizona in 2008 from Westmoreland City. He is survived by his wife, Joyce; one daughter, Laurie Kukurin of Goodyear; and two sisters, Marie Long of Madison Heights, Pa., and Mildred Buncie of Irwin, Pa. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Thompson Funeral Chapel, 926 S. Litchfield Road in Goodyear. Interment will follow at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in Phoenix.
