MAGAñA, Christopher Michael


Arizona Central, Phoenix, AZ March, 2005 Christopher Michael Magaña, 43 died at his home on Sunday, March 20, 2005 in Mesa, Arizona. He was born June 1, 1961 in Flagstaff, Arizona to Magdalena Figueroa and Archie Magaña. He attended Kinsey Elementary, Our Lady of Guadalupe, Benson High and Graduated from Coconino High School in 1979. Chris went on to attend the American School of Recording Arts & Sciences. Chris had a passion for music and enjoyed uniting people in laughter and dance. He was adopted by family and friends everywhere and lovingly became known as "Uncle Beef". Chris is survived by his daughter Laren Weaver and two grandchildren: Haley and Mikah. He is also survived by Archie Magaña, his father; Magdalena Figueroa, his mother and Amalia Acosta, his maternal-grandmother as well as his three sisters: Debbie (Arnold) Martinez, Rebecca (Rick) VanDeWater and Adrienne Magaña in addition he has four brothers: Vince, Patrick, Art and Marlon plus numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 24, 2005 at 1:00 pm at Falconer Funeral Home, 251 W. Juniper, Gilbert, Arizona 85233, (480) 892-9411.
