The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 12/20/2011 John A. Swartz, 41, died Dec. 15, 2011, at Summit Healthcare in Show Low. He was a resident of St. Johns. John was born May 9, 1970, in Grove City, Pa., the son of Stanley and Severina Swartz. John loved Jesus and is with the Lord now. He loved to run and play, loved the outdoors (especially fishing); he loved his family and enjoyed listening to Christian music. John is survived by his parents: Stanley and Severina Swartz of St. Johns; brothers: Stan Swartz, Jr. of Springerville and Matthew (Jennifer) Swartz of Texas; a sister Ruth (Mark) Davenport of Calif.; a niece and eight nephews; and six grand nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by four grandparents. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 22, at The First Assembly of God Church in Springerville with viewing one hour prior.
