BARNARD, Dorothy A. (Dollye)

The Prescott Courier, Prescott, Arizona Thursday, March 7, 1974 Dollye Barnard Rites Saturday Mrs. Dorthy A. (Dollye) Barnard, 92, a resident of Prescott for the past 34 years died Wednesday morning at Yavapai Community Hospital. A devoted civic worker, Mrs. Barnard was an active member of the Hassayampa Country Club and the Yavapai County Women's Republican Club; she was a former member of the Monday Club and was active in the social and cultural life of the community. Mrs. Barnard came to Prescott with her family in 1940 when her husband was employed at the Iron King Mine as an engineer. Her only survivor is a son, D. Gordon Barnard, employed with the Arizona State Highway Department. Services for Mrs. Barnard will be conducted by Dr. Charles Franklin Parker at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Ruffner Funeral Home with private interment following in the family plot at Mountain View Cemetery.
