Belle H. Hightower, 57, died Sunday Yavapai Community Hospital.
She was born September 13, 1916 at Tillman, Okla. and it had been a resident of Prescott for the past nine years.
She came to Arizona 54 years ago from Oklahoma first settling in Glendale where she attended public school.
After marriage, she moved to Flagstaff where her husband attended Northern Arizona University. In 1940 the couple moved to Phoenix where they lived until 1948 when they moved to Stockton Calif. where they resided for three years on returning to Arizona they lived in Mesa. In 1965 he moved to Prescott.
She is survived by her husband Roger W. Hightower, of Prescott; three sons, Lt. Cmdr. Roger W. (Bud) Hightower, U.S. Navy, Honolulu, Hawaii; Maj. Robert W. (Bob), U.S. Army at Fort Ord, Calif. and David of Prescott; three brothers George Butler of Stockton Calif. Howard and Charles Hodge, Stockton and Jim Hodge, Phoenix, a sister Mrs. Dale Vickery of Phoenix and six grandchildren.
Funeral services have been scheduled at first Congregational Church at 2 p.m. Thursday.
Interment will be at Mountain View Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Hampton Funeral Home
