Carl John Ryberg, 91, died Monday at his home at 413 Webb Place.
He was born July 25, 1882 in Sweden and came to the United States as a young man. He had been an iron worker in Chicago area for over 50 years and was a member of the Iron Workers Union Local No.63 in Chicago.
He was a member of the Glen Ellyn Lodge No. 915 F. & A.M. in Glen Ellyn, Ill.; Past High Priest in Wheaton Chapter No. 242 in Wheaton, Ill.; and a former member of the Knights Templar.
He moved to Arizona from Lombard, Ill. nine years ago.
Survivors include his widow and son, John, both of Prescott; a daughter Mrs. Anna Larson, North Hollywood, Calif.; 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Memory Chapel with Elder Ronald G. Kendall officiating.
Cremation will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. tomorrow at Memory Chapel.
