BARNES, Albert Leroy

The Prescott Courier, Prescott, Arizona Wednesday, May 1, 1974 Albert Leroy Barnes, 70, died Monday at Yavapai Community Hospital following a sudden illness. He was born April 6, 1904 at Madison, S. D. N moved to the stage from Michigan 29 years ago. Mr. Barnes was a market manager for Basha's Grocery Stores in Phoenix, Mesa and Chandler for 26 years. He moved to Prescott from Chandler 2 1/2 years ago and lived at 349 Park Ave. He was a former member of the Fraternal Order of Police at Phoenix. At Prescott he was a member of the Mount Vernon Church of Christ. He is survived by his widow, Jo Frances of this city; a son, Charles Wallace of Phoenix; a daughter, Mrs. Carol Sue Oldenberg of Dallas, Tex.; three grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. tomorrow at Memory Chapel with Douglas Perkins and Cecil Hill officiating. Burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. today at Memory Chapel.
