CLANCY, JR., Lynn R.

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Sunday, February 18, 2007 Lynn R. Clancy, Jr., Ph.D, died Feb. 15, 2007, at his home in Prescott. Lynn was born June 7, 1929, in Niagara Falls, N.Y., the son of Lynn R. and Jennie M. (Anderson) Clancy. Lynn was 77 years old. Lynn proudly served in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict. He retired from a 37 year teaching career in California just prior to moving to Prescott 12 years ago. He is survived by his wife, Sandy; son, Steve (Robin); daughter, Kathy (Bruce) Ellis; grandchildren and sisters, Joanne Reynolds and Ruth Clancy. The family would like to thank Hospice Family Care for their assistance during Lynn's final illness. Private cremation will be at Bradshaw Crematory. The family suggests memorials in Lynn's name to Yavapai County Humane Society, 1625 Sundog Ranch Rd., Prescott, Ariz. Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home is assisting the family.
