Richard (Dick) Seitz passed away Sunday, November 26, at the Las Fuentes Care Center. He was born July 16, 1914, in Mt. Carmel, Ill., the son of Jesse and Sarah (Dodridge) Seitz.
Dick was an electronic engineer, obtaining his degree from Valparaiso Technical Institute. During World War II, he designed and developed communications equipment for the US Army Signal Corps. Mr. Seitz owned and operated Seitz Business Equipment in Phoenix until 1971 when he established Seitz Office Products in Prescott.
Dick is survived by his wife of 67 years, Evelyn a Prescott; daughter, Sharon Lovell of Goodyear, Arizona; son-in-law Jack Lovell of Goodyear Arizona; sister, Jeanne Capin of Charlotte, N.C.; brother in law, Richard Capin of Charlotte, N. C. nephews, Gregory Capin of Atlanta, Ga., and Mark Capin of Indianapolis, Ind.; nieces, Sheryl Harrell of Colliersville, Tenn., and Carolyn Christopher of Tallahassee, Fla.
A memorial service will be on Thursday, November 30, at 2 p.m. at Heritage Memory Mortuary, 131 Grove Ave., Prescott, with the Rev. James Beasley officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Burial will follow the service at Mountain View Cemetery in Prescott.
Heritage Memory Mortuary assisted the family with the arrangements.
