LEE, Essie Ruth

The Prescott Courier, Prescott, Arizona Monday, March 18, 1974 Essie Ruth Lee Rites in Denver Mrs. Essie Ruth Lee, 85, died Friday at Warfield Nursing Home. She was born Sept. 10, 1888, at Chicago, Ill. and was reared and educated in that city. After she married she moved to Denver, Colo. in 1914 where she resided until her husband's death in 1945 when she moved back to Chicago. In April 1965 she moved to Prescott where she made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Martha Ann Lee Christensen. She is survived by a son, Alfred Rosse Lee of Fairfield, Conn. six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Ruffner Funeral Home was in charge of local arrangements. Funeral services will be held at Denver with interment next to her husband in Fairmount Cemetery there.
