Grafton L. Hallier, 79, died Wednesday at the Veterans Administration Center and Whipple. He was born at Sebeka, Minn. on February 2, 1895 and had farmed at Ortonville, Minn. for 39 years. A veteran of the U.S. Army he had served in the European Theater during World War I and was a former member of the Ralph Spink Post of the American Legion at Ortonville and also of the Sun City-Youngstown Post in Sun City.
Mr. Hallier move to Arizona in 1959 for Minnesota and had lived in Sun City where he was a member of the United Church before moving to Prescott six years ago. He resided here at 333 S. Alarcon St.
Survivors include: his wife, Verna; a son, Gordon of Sunnyvale, Calif.; a daughter, Frances Hallier of St. Paul, Minn. and a sister, Mrs. Allie Pouzar of Richfield, Minn.
Memorial services will be held at Memory Chapel at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 15 with the Rev. Russell Hughes officiating.
A private cremation will be held at Mountain View Crematory.
