The Prescott Courier, Prescott, Arizona Sunday, April 28, 1974 John Truman Dies in L.A. John Robert (Bob) Truman of Prescott died April 26 while visiting his sister in Los Angeles. Funeral services will be announced by A. L. Moore and Sons Mortuary 333 W. Adams St., Phoenix at a later date. Burial will be at Greenwood Memorial Park, 2300 W. Van Buren Ave., Phoenix. Mr. Truman was born April 17, 1896 at Phoenix. He and his business partner Clyde Lewis operated a garage in Phoenix for several years. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War I upon his return to Phoenix he was associated with General Adjustment Bureau, Inc. for 25 years retiring in 1962. He is survived by his widow, Agnes S. of Prescott; his sister, Mrs. H. L. Layne, Los Angeles; two sisters-in-law, Bernice Scarlett of Prescott and Bertha S. Hunt, of Walnut Creek, Ariz.; several nieces and nephews.
