The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Friday, November 17, 2006 Lenore (Bozarth) Mullenax, 84, joined her Heavenly Father on November 10, 2006 after treatment for cancer at the City of Hope Hospital in Duarte, Calif. Her sister, Martha (Bozarth) Faver, and daughter, Carole Holden, were at her bedside. She was born August 9, 1922 to Nancy (Cooper) Bozarth and Waldo Bozarth at her grandfather Bozarth's home in Prescott. Lennar with a caring person who knew no stranger. She loves the outdoors, hunting, fishing, golfing, and spending time with her friends and family. She will be missed by all who were blessed to have known her. Lennar was raised on various ranches with her parents, where she loved cattle and horses. She then went on to experience life to the fullest for ranching and real estate in Arizona to mining and cattle ranching, and she served as Nye County Deputy Sheriff and County Recorder in Nevada. In 1970 she moved to Farmington, New Mexico, and purchase the Red Barn Florist in Aztec, New Mexico. Later she found herself once again pursuing a career in law enforcement as a Detention Officer. At retirement she then went on to Cosmetology College, and seven after receiving her degree and license she opened Lenore's Styling Salon and Farmington, New Mexico she retired to once again find her life unfulfilling without people surrounding her and went to work at Wal-Mart in the sporting goods department. She was preceded in death by her parents Waldo and Nancy (Cooper) Bozarth; sister, Frances Elizabeth Bozarth Farmer; and son-in-law Brian Fancher. Lenore is survived by her daughters, Carole Holden and husband Jack of San Pedro, Calif., Debra Finch of Kingman, Ariz., and Diana Fancher of Broken Arrow, Okla.; sisters, Martha (Bozarth) Faver and husband Norman of Farmington, N.M., and June Bozarth of Kingman, Ariz.; eleven beautiful grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. Funeral services are in care of Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home in Prescott. Viewing will be from noon to 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 18, with services immediately following at 303 S. Cortez St., Prescott, Ariz. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery. Memorial services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 21, at PiƱon Hills Community Church, 2400 N. Butler Ave., Farmington, NM. Information provided by survivors.
