The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Wednesday, February 15, 2006 Monique Manning - File, age 67, of Prescott, passed away on Veteran's Day, November 11, 2006. She was born September 28, 1939 in Woonsocket, R. I., to Roland and Cecile Brunelle. Monique was employed as Cecelia's assistant at Cecelia's Day Spa in Prescott she formerly worked several years as a bartender at the local American Legion Post # 6 and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post # 541. Monique is survived by her husband Robert File of Prescott; daughter Deborah Meade of Lacey, Wash.; sons, Les Szabo of Grand Junction, Colo., and Mike Szabo of Payson, Ariz.; sisters, Paula Popp of Chino Valley and Madeline Brophy of Phoenix; and brothers, Roger Brunelle of Wickenburg and Robert Burnell of Phoenix; plus numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her unique ability to help people smile and laugh will be remembered by many for years to come. As she desired, the only service to be held will be a private gathering of family members or a scattering of her ashes at a site where her youngest brother's ashes were scattered following his death just six months ago.
