BUCHANAN, James B.

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Thursday, February 16, 2006 James Buchanan of Prescott Valley passed away Saturday, November 12, 2006 at the Samaritan Community Center in Prescott Valley. Jim was born on June 24, 1920, in Beloit, Wisc. He joined the Navy and he was 19 and was a World War II veteran and a Pearl Harbor survivor. He was married to his wife Cleo, for 59 years. They have two children ; a son Douglas (Tanna) Buchanan of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and a daughter, Judith (Ferd) Maroe of Prescott Valley; two grandchildren, Jeni (Craig) Mason and Daniel Buchanan of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; and two great-grandchildren, Zak and Chloe Mason. Memorial services will take place at 3:30 PM Friday, November 17, at Sunrise Funeral Home, in Prescott Valley. James has touched many lives and will be deeply missed by all who have known him.
